Eight ways people mix
One half in your native language, the other half in English — the most stable shape. Every line below is ready to film.
今天真的不想加班,but my boss just sent another message.
The most common pairing; most Chinese speakers start here.
今日は絶対残業したくない。but my boss just sent another message.
The default for Japanese speakers — the English half is pure complaint, so the contrast lands.
오늘은 진짜 야근하기 싫어. but my boss just sent another message.
The Korean sentence ending is the punchline; English sits best right after it.
Hoy no quiero quedarme hasta tarde, pero mi jefe acaba de mandar otro mensaje.
Spanish speeds the whole thing up — good for a sudden acceleration.
今天真的不想加班,でも課長がまたメッセージを送ってきた。Anyway, I'm leaving at six.
Three East Asian languages; the best fit for workplace complaints.
오늘은 진짜 야근하기 싫어, 但我已经答应帮忙了。Well, I'll just do it fast.
Two East Asian languages around English — the fastest-sounding mix.
今日は残業したくない。but my boss just sent another message. Bueno, me voy a las seis.
A Romance language drops in; the second viewers lose track is the effect.
我今天要早退, because I have a fever. でも会議は出なきゃ。그래도 퇴근은 일찍 할 거야.
Four is the ceiling. Past that, nobody hears the structure.
What a script looks like
A long multi-language script looks like this: read straight through, no stopping to translate. Short examples are up in the eight mixes.
Guess what, 明日から休みだよ, 明天放假啦, 내일부터 쉬는 날이야, mañana no hay clases, I can stay up late tonight,no alarm, no rushing, 朝はゆっくり寝られる,本当に最高だね, 我可以睡到中午,谁也别叫我起床, 아침에 알람 소리 없이,그냥 계속 누워 있을 거야, un dia entero para mi,sin prisa, sin planes, Sounds like a perfect little break, just me, snacks and a movie, 明日は何をしようかな,散歩でもいいし, 或者干脆什么都不做,发呆也是正经事, 내일은 진짜 내 시간이야,아무도 안 시키는 하루, puedo dormir hasta tarde,y nadie me va a molestar, Hold on, is this real?I keep checking my phone, 本当に休みなの,うれしすぎて変な感じ, 明天真的不用上班,我要笑出声了, 내일 아침에 눈을 뜨면,제일 먼저 웃을 거야, un dia libre es un tesoro,lo voy a disfrutar todo, Okay, goodnight everyone, see you after my long sleep.

FAQ
The short version, before you commit to picking languages.
What is the mixed language challenge?
A short-video format where one person speaks in two or more languages inside a single sentence, and viewers try to keep up. This tool writes the script for it.
How many languages can I mix?
2 to 8. Fewer than 2 is not a challenge; past 8 the script stops sounding like speech and starts sounding like a vocabulary drill.
Is it free?
Yes for signed-in accounts — generation does not consume credits. Sign-in exists so every model call can be tied to a user.
Can I use the script in a video?
Yes. Copy it into our video generator to add voiceover and subtitles and export an MP4 in the browser — or just read it yourself.
How do I switch without sounding awkward?
Switch at a natural pause: finish a whole thought, then change language. Never switch mid-word. Native first half, target language second half is the safest shape.
How many switches per sentence?
Two or three. Across 300 characters that is roughly 12–18 switches; more than that and viewers cannot keep up.
Do I need subtitles?
Yes. Break them by language or colour them, otherwise it sounds like noise and people scroll away.
Will the platform throttle it?
No, mixing languages is normal content. Just do not stack machine translation — if the sentences do not flow, the comments will tell you.
